Browsing: Internet Marketing
It is safe to say that a lot of the older more traditional “free” traffic strategies may be starting to become a thing of the past. Traffic techniques like blog commenting, forum posting and submitting to article directories are hardly likely to get you a great deal of visitors. Sure,…
As some of you may know I put a product out in the Warrior Forum the other month and whilst it never set the world alight it did ok. Made over a $1000 so I was quite pleased. But – arguably what I learnt was way more valuable to me. The actual process of putting a product in the Warrior Forum as a WSO is perhaps a little more complex than people actually think.
I will try to break this down in this post. I hope that after you have read this you may consider launching your own product in there.
I am always on the lookout for more ways to add to my online income streams. Whilst most of you will know I have not been very active in my Facebook efforts, I thought it was time to head into this giant and see what all the fuss is about.
But I wanted to do it from a non MMO niche – in fact I wanted to do it in a niche that I was not familiar with at all. So what niche did I choose? Well, more on that in a minute.
I was recently pointed out to a video online called the Science of Productivity, it’s all about time management and will power. Basically – our ability to get things done. I thought it would be especially relevant of me to write about this as I have been away from the blog for an extended period shall we say, well longer than usual.
A huge problem for business owners is the fact that they do not know the difference between self-promotion for personal branding purposes and bragging. It is totally acceptable to promote yourself and what you did but when you brag, people automatically dislike it. As a result you will end up with a really bad personal brand that is filled with uncertainty. You will have problems with advancing in your career as you will be seen as someone that is unreliable.
Building a brand takes more than just advertising online. Brand promotion needs to be done in multiple formats and on multiple platforms. Even the big names such as eBay are advertised on TV, and even appear in popular movies. It cannot be denied however, that the Internet is now a far more powerful brand-building tool than it used to be. So here are a few tips on how to improve your brands online presence.
This post will introduce you to 5 great tools for creating infographics. I am a big fan of infographics, but only recently have started to use them on the blog. Visual communication is one of the most effective ways to often get a point across – and an infographic is no different. There are many different types of infographic, from social media statistics, lists, tutorials – basically you name it there may well be an infographic for it. Infographics are usually the product of a company, used to detail some figures and statistics but now you can easily create your own with these great options below.
You may have heard people talking in your communities about Squidoo. Or rather, Squidoo Lenses. But, what is a Squidoo Lens?
Squidoo is a community website that allows people to make one page websites about virtually any subject matter or interest. These one page websites are called lenses. People who create them are known as lensmasters! Oh and by the way – you can make some great money from them, but more on that later.
It was launched way back in 2005 with the help of its founder Seth Godin. Since its birth back then it has gone global and grown a mass audience – rather bizarrely though some people still do not really know what it is. I had not used it until recently and I can say I am very impressed with it. I have spent the last few days checking it out and I have just built three little lenses.
What does value the customer mean? In any business, customer value should be right up there at the top of your list. It is so important that we spend time to value the customer. This value should be applied no matter what your business model. Whether you are selling cars, smart phones or information products on the Internet the importance of customer value is paramount.
What is the definition of customer value?
“The difference between what a customer gets from a product, and what he or she has to give in order to get it.”
When I make a squeeze page nowadays I have a new tool I use. It is not often that I write about a plugin but when I found this one I thought I should share it with you. It’s called Paper Template – and quite frankly, it’s great.
No doubt you would of heard of Optimize Press? We have discussed it here on the blog. Part and parcel of any Internet Marketing campaign these days will require you to make a squeeze page or sales page. Not just in the IM niche, but any niche now bloggers are using these sort of pages to help promote their business and gain subscribers.
This is a simple idea and possibly a cheap one, but that depends on what you do and how you implement it. Welcome to the profitable world of the Middleman business.
So what do you do?
You simply become the middle person between two other parties. These other parties are looking for each other. One needs some work doing while the other can do the work and is looking for clients. Or you offer a simple service which allows two sets of people to meet for fun like forums or webcam sites.
